What we do for you

Jitter helps manufacturers make their equipment smart and connected, whether you want to test an idea, develop a new product, modernize an existing product or find a long-term technical partner.

Advice and feasibility for a new product idea

Idea or concept

Know whether it can work before you invest

You have an idea for a smart or connected product, but you don't know yet whether the measuring principle works, which technology fits or what it will cost. A feasibility study gives you a well-founded go/no-go and a roadmap.

  • An honest comparison of the candidate technologies
  • Architecture options for communication and power
  • A cost model per device or per site
  • A roadmap and a concrete next step for investors and customers
Electronics for a new connected product

New product or new revision

Making your product connected

A new board with 4G, firmware and a secure server. We combine our proven sensor-link building blocks with custom work for the parts that make your product different.

  • Electronics, firmware and server from one team
  • Weeks instead of months, because the foundation already exists
  • Ready for the Cyber Resilience Act
  • No subscription per device, and the data stays yours
Existing electronics being modernized

Existing product

Modernizing existing equipment

Your product has been running at customer sites for years, but it has become hard to keep building or extending it. We bring it up to date without shutting down the installations that are running.

  • Add connectivity to equipment that is already in the field
  • Replace parts that are no longer available
  • Reconstruct lost documentation and design knowledge
  • Step by step, without a big bang

Long term

Ongoing development and maintenance

A product isn't finished at the first delivery. We stay on as your technical partner: we keep your product secure and up to date, build new features and remember what your team forgets.

  • Firmware and security updates for devices in the field
  • New versions and features based on real-world experience
  • Management of servers and dashboards
  • Knowledge that stays, even when engineers leave your company

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with fixed pricing or hourly rates?
We work with fixed pricing per project phase. That gives you budget certainty and avoids surprises. After an intake meeting, we provide a clear quote per phase. Sometimes we suggest starting with a preliminary study to explore feasibility or to better define the specifications.
How is this different from off-the-shelf IoT platforms?
With an off-the-shelf IoT platform you pay a subscription per device and your data sits with a third party. With sensor-link the server runs on your side, the data stays yours and there are no monthly fees per device. Because we develop every layer ourselves, we can adapt all of it to your product.
What does it cost to make my product connected?
Electronics and firmware start from €20,000 and a secure server costs €6,500, both indicative and excluding VAT. On top of that you pay a small one-time contribution per produced device towards the development of the building blocks, with no subscription. The budget calculator lets you put together your own estimate.
Where do I start if I only have an idea?
With a feasibility study. We find out whether your measuring principle can work, which technology fits and what it costs per device. You get a go/no-go with the reasoning behind it and a roadmap, before you invest in development.
